An angel investor (also known as a business angel, informal investor, angel funder, private investor, or seed investor) is an affluent individual/firm who provides capital for a business start-up, usually in exchange for convertible debt or ownership equity. Angel investors usually give support to start-ups at the initial moments (where risks of the start-ups failing are relatively high) and when most investors are not prepared to back them.

For almost 20 years, Blue Chip Macro has invested in and advised small businesses in the Los Angeles area.  Our individual equity investments have ranged from $50,000 to $5 million.  We are different than most business consultants as we lay out a plan to help your business, invest the money to make it happen and then help execute the plan!  With our equity investment our goals are aligned.
